Last night, 9.30 pm, TV9, Hujah program had invited 2 UMNO vice president candidates namely Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik and Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.. After the program I had a conclusion: Sapa la yg bodoh gi calonkan Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Tamby chik for a vice president..
I am not an UMNO members neither PAS nor PKR (ok lah, I had registered with Keadilan back in 1999 but since then I was never paying any yearly fees or involved in any Keadilan activities.. so considered I am not Keadilan members anymore). But since UMNO is still a dominant party in Malaysia and still ruling Malaysia at least until next GE, I still want to know who UMNOians expect to be their leaders.. And looking at their vice president candidates, I was very disappointed..
People like TS Rahim Tamby Chik should not be one of the candidates. He keeps telling the audiences that young people is not patriotic just because lots of young people nowadays not supporting Be End.. He stands by his words that young people are buta sejarah.. When the chairman ask him, how to change young people bad perspective towards UMNO, he would say, young people now tak mengenang budi, buta sejarah, senang kena tipu etc.. lot of bad words had been throw towards young people in Malaysia, just because we refuse to accept their bad behavior, corruptions and scandals... Nothing, I repeat, nothing from his words could made me change my view on UMNO... To make it worst, after the program, I was said to myself: Ini lah UMNO.. Org bodoh mcm nie ader lagi org nak sokong and calonkan utk vice president.. The worst part was: He was ex Chief Minister of Malacca.. Satu negeri yg ader satu jaringan sejarah yg panjang, tempat bermulanya ketamadunan dan sejarah melayu...
Untuk org2 UMNO, if you feels that you still relevant to Malaysians, still important in Malaysia development and still deserve to rules Malaysia, kick people like TS Rahim Tamby Chik out of your sight.. jgn bagi org2 mcm nie leads you.. org2 mcm nie wont give you the solution to the problems arise but will pointing his fingers to blame others.. so mcm mana Malaysia nak maju...
Rahim Tamby Chik is not relevant to UMNO anymore...

the candidacy of rahim tambi cik is a tragedy. just like u, i was so appalled when it was announced that he managed to secure a nomination. so surprised was i, that i thought maybe the tv3 newsline was hacked...
oh how stupid ( stupid is a very mild word in this case)the supporters were. i mean, what were they thinking? he was so passe, and ancient. and he was implicated and tainted with so many accusations!

I do agree with you, it is not right to say that Malaysian Youth is not patriotic. that is the most stupid excuse I've ever heard.
It like they are saying that those who is not voting UMNO is not patriotic enough. I hate it when he keep repeating the same point over and over.
I do think that as a young Malaysian we should b wise in choosing who should be our leader. Do not ever be blind supporter.
